Birthday Primark Haul

Today is Monday 21st August and it’s my 29th birthday! I decided to treat myself to a few little bits in Primark on my lunch break (yes I worked on my birthday, no I’m not insane) as I hadn’t been there for a while.

I feel like Primark is that sort of place where you go one week and they’ve got loads of amazing stuff and you go back the week later and it’s all gone so I was really pleased to see that they had a lot of new stock in.

The first thing I picked up was a new black handbag. I have a tan one in a similar style but I feel like whilst it goes with most things, it doesn’t go with all things, so I really wanted a black one too. This one has a full zip, is massive but not too big that it’s a nuisance and it was only £10!

When I saw that my Primark had a fully stocked display of Chip mugs I practically ran there. This was the first time I had actually seen one of these in real life, so at £5 into the basket it went no questions asked.

The last item I got were these adorable Cookie Monster Pyjamas. I loved Sesame Street when I was little, it’s still really funny if you watch the old clips on YouTube now tbf. I have a few different pairs of Sesame Street pyjamas, all Primark too but these were too cute to leave in the shop. They were £10, which is a little pricier than branded pj’s used to be in Primark but for a full length set I don’t think it’s too bad.

You might be wondering why I haven’t bought any of the new AW17 stuff, whilst though they had a lot of pieces I liked, I didn’t like them enough to buy them this early on. I know it’s good to be prepared and to get it before it’s gone, but there just wasn’t anything that I just had to have you know? Saying that, I am really excited for Autumn/Winter and can’t wait to start buying pieces to put outfits together with!

What have you bought from Primark lately?
