Thing’s I’ve Been Loving Lately #2

Here we are again after another impromptu blogging break. Taking a break from blogging used to be something that really bothered me. However now, it seems to be something that bloggers are doing more and more lately and it’s just become a lot more casual. Which is the way I think it should be really. If you fancy a break for a week or two, no one’s going to care. They’ll still see your posts when you start blogging again and ultimately, taking a break can improve your content as you’re more focused and motivated when you’re refreshed I find so really it’s win-win, isn’t it?

I love reading blog posts like this so I hope you enjoy having a peek into some of the things I’ve been loving lately.

Gin and Lemonade

Gin & Lemonade | In particular, pink gin. I always thought I didn’t like gin but actually what I don’t like is tonic. Quinine is vile. Gin, however, is lovely. This Gordon’s pink gin is so nice especially with a few blackberries, raspberries or strawberries added into your glass with lots of ice.

The Simpsons Tapped Out | I’ve pretty much stopped playing the Harry Potter game I was playing before as I re-downloaded this after not playing it for well over a year. I’ve been playing this game non-stop and forgot how much I love it. I’m a massive Simpsons fan and so this game is right up my street.

Hot Dogs | I’m talking sausages cooked on the BBQ here not the tinned kind. I find those quite gross. It’s been so hot for weeks now and we’ve enjoyed several BBQ’s. I love a hot dog with cheese and ketchup, I’ve even been known to have three in a row!

Puzzles | Sudoku, crosswords, word searches. I’ve been loving all sorts of puzzles lately. I like to do them in the evenings to relax or in bed in place of reading/scrolling through my phone. I’ve got loads of puzzle books but there are some good apps too.

What have you been loving lately?

Thanks for reading
